Ok so this is a River City Ransom remake with a Scott Pilgrim facelift. With that said I loved RCR, this game however takes the formula of the classic Nintendo game and injects it will Sasquatch steroids. I think I've seen elements of all kinds of classic games in there (Double Dragon, Super Mario 3, Mega Man, Streets or Rage, Street Fighter, Final Fight) Everything is super HD old school fun and comedy (character animations on a 60' screen is hilarious). The music is old school as you can get with 8bit type of soundtracks, I found myself humming the soundtrack at work days later (lol). This is a short review cause all I'm gonna say is Flawless execution of a throwback game. I actually felt like I was playing Nintendo in the future. If you have the points download, if you don't have the points get some and download. This is the new classic.
