god awful

i dont remember this game from its original release and perhaps this is why i dont like it. this game is a good example of retro gaming gone bad,
so far i have spent countless points on downloading games like street fighter,uno and geometry wars and having played this i now know that 400ms points are going to be safe in my account.

i checked out the info on the original scramble and i gotta say, i can see how in the 80's this could have been fun but it just wont hold up in 2006,

the updated graphics are terrible even worse than the original ,sure they have more pixels but they still look like its made out of lego,although you can change this in the mian menu

the sound is also terrible ,the space ship sounds like a steam train and explosions sound ,well they dont sound like explosions,it sounds like somebody throwing a plastic bag full of tin cans into a skip and the opening music gets old fast.

in this day and age when anybody can pick up macromedia flash and make a better game than this ,major games companies should be releasing new exciting retro play games or pick better games from their back catologue
