Let's hope that Tunguska opens the door to other oldskool point 'n click adventures because the Wii is made for them!

Finally an oldskool point 'n click adventure, the genre that pretty much died a couple of years ago, seems to get revived on the Wii. After the ugly crap that is called 'Agatha Christie: and then there were none' we now finally have a decent one.

Nina's father gets kidnapped because he's involved in the research of the mysteries that occured in the Tunguska region. So Nina is set on a journey to find him.

There's not that many locations to explore and they're rather small, but they all look pretty. (pre rendered backgrounds). There's a handy sneak peek system that shows you all the interactive spots on the screen, so no needless searching around anymore.

The puzzles themselves are very pleasant, although a if you're a point'n'click junkie, you'll find most puzzles somewhat easy. Of course there's the typical combinating of inventory items. (Some of which are extremely illogical).

Overall this is a pleasant game that will take you around 12 - 16 hours to complete if you're used to the genre and the way of puzzle solving. There were only a few moments I felt stuck in the game, but luckily they didn't last long, because the environments are pretty small so the solution is always at hand.

I'd suggest you rent this one for a weekend and really enjoy yourself.
