Secret of Mana is one of the finest RPGs on the SNES.
The story is very well developed throughout the game and is presented in true Square form. The game offers some comedy through the characters.
The status system is well done and the menu is well organized. The neat upgradable weapons system is a new but good change from the common better weapons of the same kind thing.
There is surprisingly some multiplayer in Secret of Mana. Your friends can controller the other two partners if you want them to allowing greater teamwork to defeat bosses.
The AI in the game from enimies is very good and gives a challenge.
Overall the game is great and offers a good experience towards any RPG fan that is willing to trudge through the long game.
