Definitely better than it's predecessor, Prejudice is an entertaining and somewhat addicting romp in multiplayer.

As far as XBLA games go, this one is a must buy. The single player campaign is more like a training ground for the excellent multiplayer. It gets you introduced to the game mechanics and excitingly unique offerings this game has apart from other sci-fi shooters out there. The unlock and leveling system keeps the carrot dangled in front of you long enough to get at least level 60 before you start to lose momentum a little. However the gameplay is varied and exciting enough to keep many a college student out of boredom for many months to come.

The multiplayer has the standard modes, but what makes it compelling is that the developer is adding new modes and features on a regular basis. Gameplay is divided into three distinct flavors during a match. Every time you kill and enemy, you gain a certain amount of money that you can spend on in-game rewards. $25 gains you either a Supply Depot or a Sensor Array. Supply Depots help your team by dispensing ammo and healing injured players who are nearby. Sensor Arrays are more straightforward and simply detect nearby enemies revealing their location on the mini map. Get $15 more and you can deploy turrets of various types. A minigun turret provides some anti-infantry point defense and helps maintain a perimiter around your positions. Missile turrets defend against vehicles and AA Turrets prevent the enemy from spawning in that area. Should you save up and earn even more money, you can even deploy a hoverbike. mech or tank to use in battle. This brings me to one of the funnest aspects of the game for me personally.

Every time you spawn your Power Armored Infantryman drops out of an orbiting ship to land on the map. When dropping you have a few choices how you want to go about deploying yourself. Brake in the yellow altitude region and your character will slow his descent dramatically letting you steer him to a more favorable location for landing. Also should you decide to do this, you will ready your weapons a lot faster. The trade off is that your impact damage and radius are severely decreased. however brake in the red area and you can only steer for a short time before you impact, damaging anything near you.

to me this is a great way to add a little depth to the spawning process so mundanely represented in other games, making it more realistic as well as fun. The upgrade system is fun, the progression constantly rewarding your efforts. The depth and variety of gameplay, stat tracking, and upgrades make this more like an awesome tower defense action RPG sci fi FPS, than your standard Halo or Unreal Tournament. Overall, this is a must buy for your system of choice. For only $15 you get an amazing package crammed to the gills with content. Enjoy it.
