Too soon, considering it came out in 2001, where the game hits you around the face into the 1990s.

User Rating: 6.5 | Sega GT Homologation Special DC
Sega GT is Sega's answer to Sony's Gran Turismo series, however this game tries it best, however fall trying to get itself back up and fails.

Gameplay: 7
I don't know what to say about this game, there not much too do and sometimes moving on takes alot more patience, racing events take some time to get used too and sometimes it more about upgrading your car then skill.

The events at first glance is a shock, since when did McDonald is part of racing? Big corparations worked well with Crazy Taxi, but this game take it too far.

Cool features in the game do include building your own car in a factory and drag racing.

Controls: 7

The controls are awkward, sometimes I find myself turn sharply and then drifting, maybe if there was an option to set this like Gran Tursimo

Sometimes, the game sets itself to manual instead of automatic, when selecting gears, and vice versa, it's really confusing and adds frustration.

Graphics: 6
The game graphics suck,... despite having alot of cars, the texture look like they're pasted on, giving it a grainy look. MSR and Vanishing Point both beat this game in graphics in the vehicle look and tracks. Also Sega Rally gives alot to the graphics. The game simply looks rushed.

Some cars look good, however why can't all the other cars be as good as those?

The tracks aren't that bad, as ground looks like ground, grass looks like grass and cars look like cars, at least that got that right.

Sound: 7
The sound is good, the car engine sounds good, however again, there are times when they plucked sound effects from Nickeloden and put them into the game menu, it's really doesn't work well together in this day of age. Music gets boring after a while.

Value: 5
If you're a fan of racing games and wanna see how far you'll get into the game, believe me, there are times you wouldn't want to repeat the same race again. Trading cars isn't worth it, they look ugly and sometimes the game gets too nice meanwhile it punishes you and gives you an unfair advantage, it's really confusing.

Total: 6.4
If you like racing games, this game is for you, however I suggest renting it first, this game doesn't represent the Dreamcast's power and will disappoint, however there other better racing games to get stuck into, MSR, Sega Rally and Vanishing Point all offer something better then this game, despite it's really cool features. It makes you want to move away from the Dreamcast.
