Underimpressive hack'n'slash experience.
The graphics are great, and are what attracted me to the game. There action is quick, and there isn't much slowdown. That is about it for the positives though.
The story is incredibly vague and confusing. I think a lot of people just explain this as the story being Japanese, but even die-hard manga fans would have trouble understanding exactly what is going on.
T controls aren't bad by any means, but there just isn't enough options. This game could literally be played on an aold atari one button joystick. There is one special move, which really doesn't make a difference. Other than that, its one button attacks.
The difficulty is highly varied. Most of the game is laughably easy, but there are parts that are just insanely difficult. The frustration caused by the hard parts is not rewarded with any sense of accomplishment.
This game is probably wort a rental to hack'n'slash fans, but I would not recommend it to anyone as a purchase.
