Shadow of Rome from Capcom studios is in my opinion one the best adventure, and sword fighting that I have ever played, because of many factors, like, the graphics, the game play, the environments, and many other factors. Take the graphics, for example, they are way better than in other games, the movements are pretty real, the way Agrippa moves the sword, or how Octavius walk, etc. Another example could be the environments; they are really well designed and very diverse. At first you play with Agrippa in Germany in one of the wars organized by Rome against Germania. Then you play in the city of Rome, with Octavius, and finally you play in the different arenas that existed in Rome, and of course the Coliseum. As I said before, you begin playing in Germania, in a war, you play with Agrippa, who is a general of one of the roman legions, you are fighting against the Germans, and once you defeat the German leader, you are told that Cesar has been murdered, and that all the army must return to Rome. Then you start playing with Octavius and some research of your own, because Vipsanius, Agrippa's father, is charged with the murder of Cesar. When Agrippa returns to Rome, he finds out about all of this, and he is able to save his mother, so he decides to become a gladiator to save his father, because the new Cesar, Antonius decides to organize gladiatorial games to honor the last Cesar, and the winner of this series of gladiatorial games, will be the executioner of Cesar's murdered. So of course, you win the gladiatorial games and manage to save your father, but at the end of the games, Antonius grabs a sword, and a very powerful one by the way, you defeat him, and just in that moment, a group of Antonius revels attacks the coliseum, and you have to chase him and defeat him once and for all. So at the end, everything goes back as it was supposed to be, Octavius is Cesar, you are a general again and everyone is happy again. This is the very game, that I would recommend to anyone who likes to have fun playing, besides, you can not stop playing this game once you have started it, its just impossible.
