Shadow of Rome is linier, and repetitive but it held's itself together with excellent voice acting, an interesting story

Shadow of Rome kicks of with ceaser getting killed, in this time you will play with both a leader of a Roman army, and his nephew as you try to discover who and how killed you're uncle . The game pretty much starts of by you the leader of a roman empire being in a Colosseum in which you must do battle, well infact it's just a tutorial .

The game looks great . The eniournments while a bit hallowed with darkness do manage to capture the feel that your in roman feretory . Characters look buff, but do have a bit of the shiny look to them especially creaser's nephew which really looks like his niece instead . Shadow of Rome does show repetition in some levels which take's down of the quality of the game a bit .

Music is very good, but some of the classical themes could have been better . Voice acting is great thumbs up to Namco for a very good job on them . Sound design at times feels a bit unrealistic when attacking the enemies .

Here's the thing there are tons of weapons and armors to pick . The story while not close to the real events is really good infact there are more twist and turns than that in which were in the Mick' Jackson child molestation trail . There's some destructible things in the enviournments, but the gameplay is repetitive literally you will be doing the same attacks over, and over, and over again . But atleast the actual controls are solid .

After 2 hours of playing the game I kind of was getting bored of just playing the game period . Luckily Shadow of Rome does include a stelthing mission that is about the only time you will be able to play as the nephew of Ceaser . The stelthing mission is fun, but it's obviously not well done . The game will take you about 15 hours to finish ... that's if you can stand 15 hours of doing the same thing .

Overall : Shadow of Rome is a good game with great graphics, great voice acting and story that will keep you interested . But if it would have been more fun, and less repetitive it may had been a memorable game .
