Like Nothing You Have Ever Played!

From the moment I fired my PS2 up and popped in Shadow of the Colossus I was hooked. I think the best part of this title is that you are not sure exactly what the main character is about nor do you know why he is in the "Forbidden Land"," even though you don't know anything it makes you very curious and it keeps you playing and playing. He is there to save the life of a girl that he carries into a temple, that is all you know. The game play itself is extremely well done, the controls are great and the character is capable of some really cool things. Your only companion in the game is your horse Argo, the horse animations look great. What sets this game from others is that there are no enemies to fight on your way from one colossus to the other. It is entirely a game of fighting bosses. The Colossi themselves are amazing and they tower above you, very intimidating. You have to find a way to bring those suckers down, that is the anchor of the game play. The puzzles and platforming are on the Colossi themselves or in the environment were you find them. The whole key is to find their week spots and bring them down. This game is very rewarding, watching your character flail about on these huge creatures is really something to see. I highly recommend it. You have to see it for yourself.
