Let me just start off by saying this game blew me away. I haven't played a game with this much atmosphere since Metroid Prime - you will forget your holding the controller. The title of the game (colossus) tells you what the developers were going for and boy did they nail it. The scale of the game is simply awesome from the towering colossi to the vast lands that stretch before your horse. Speaking of which the horse riding is done perfectly - its just a fun and more involved way of getting around that really adds to the gameplay.

The gameplay as a whole is really fulfilling; its just exciting boss battle after boss battle which everyone loves and has me wondering why no other game like this has been released before. Even after beating it i kept coming back to do Time Attack and Hard Mode because the battles are just so much fun. The story is beautiful, just don't expect a lot of words, its the overall feeling the game focuses on. This feeling flows out of the television screen with brilliant scenery, an inspiring soundtrack, and jaw-dropping scale. Truly a rewarding piece of art for those who can appreciate it.
