The most inspiring, and well-focused game I've ever played. My favorite this year

Shadow of the Colossus is the game where you take the role of "giant killer"
You play as a young boy, hoping to restore life to a girl. He will do anything to see this through, at any prize.

This game is extremely focused on the task at hand, the first thing to do is to start chasing colossi through the landscape, and that's what the game is all about. There are no enemies except for the 16 colossi.
The difficulty is finding them, then figure out their weakness, then kill them. And it's very hard indeed, the game however is not that long, and there's isn't much replay value, furthermore the camera angels can annoy the life out of you.
But despite this the battles with the colossi can become very intense indeed, and the pure thrill of fighting these colossal beasts will be enough to drive you through it.

There isn't much story in the game, you arrive at the destination, speak with an ancient spirit, who guides you through the lands, and you start to kill the colossi, the story doesn't begin to accumulate before the end of the game, and at least for me it really brought up emotions, which is something a game rarely does,I haven't gotten that carried away in a long while.

If you're a Zelda fan,and the idea of 16 hard to find & beat bosses is interesting to you, then please do find your way to Shadow of the Colossus,it's one of the more interesting games I've played in a long while.
