This game is a great title for the holiday season.

Shadow of the Colossus is a game where you fight bosses. This reason will make gamers either love it or hate it. I am one of the people who love it. The feeling that you get, when you encounter you first colossi is overwhelming. You stumble up a cliff to meet up with a HUGE beast. As you struggle to climb to his head, you think to yourself, "How am I ever going to beat this thing?" This is how the other 15 battles will go. It is not always as simple as climbing up the beast though. Often their weak spots are hidden and you must use strategy and your wits to get there. This makes taking down the colossus even more satisfying. The graphics in this game seem a little clippy at places, but they are definitely top notch for a playstation title. Background music will change theme as you wander the land to a fight on a colossus. This really immerses you in the game. A downside to this, like any adventure is the re-playability. Once you beat this game you will be done with it, until you get an itch to take down that certain boss. The best part about this game though, was the price. For a mere 39.99 (ca) I picked up this great game, when it could have been 20 dollars more and still worth it.
Overall this is a great game, but may lack in re-playability.
