First of all Shadow is very unique and probably one of the most original game of this gen after God of war. You must know by now that this is a very deep, yet simple puzzle solving game.There are 16 colossals in the game that you must take down in order to save your girl.
The gameplay is suprisingly simple. You have your grip button and your attack button.The controls can be less responsive sometimes but overall pretty good and very easy to learn.The bad thing is the game is extremely repetitive and the camera plays trick on you when facing some colossals. The puzzle are fairly easy and the game can be finished in less than 6 hours (my case).The environment is beautiful and the horse animation is very very good. The story is pretty weak as well.Oh and there is no loading time when exploring.
The graphics are ok, and the art style is great. Even with some washed out color here and there, the developpers did a pretty good job keeping the game looking great.
For those tired of the button mashing and FPS games, this game might bring you a new and innovative experience that you will not soon forget. Thanks for reading my review.
