The most unique and one of the greatest games of all time.

Shadow of the Colossus is a superb game and should definitely not be missed by any PlayStation 2 owners out there. This game has some of the greatest fights of all time, and there aren't any regular fights in this game, every fight is a boss fight. You fight these massive, large, huge creatures know as the Colossi. The key to defeating these creatures is to find their weak spot, often found on their head, but you can't just jump on its' head and start hitting him with your sword, you'll have to climb the Colossi first. Sometimes there's nothing you can climb, so you'll have to do some puzzle solving and find a way to make the Colossi to lean or you'll have to find a way to climb somewhere and then jump on the Colossi. These enemies are really fun to fight and you feel like you've really achieved something once you beat them. It's not boss fight after boss fight, if that's what you thought, you have to look for the Colossi to fight them. It's not so very hard, but sometimes you can get lost and then it gets a little bit harder. The way to look for these Colossi is quite simple actually, you just raise your sword while in a sunlit area to reflect beams of light, the beams will converge if the sword is pointed in the direction of the next Colossi. Then you just have to get there. To get there faster, you have a horse for that, Agro. Agro plays a pretty big role in the game and you need Agro in order to defeat some of the Colossi. You really will learn to love this animal while you play through this game. The graphics in Shadow of the Colossus are just gorgeous. Some of the greatest graphics on the PlayStation 2. The environments are just so detailed and great to look at. This game also takes place in a very nice place. The storyline is awesome, you're a young boy who came to this place on a journey to bring your lifeless girlfriend back to life. To return her soul, you have to fight and defeat all sixteen Colossus. You don't fight any other enemies besides the Colossi and that's a good thing, it wouldn't be the same if there were other enemies. This is a satisfying, unique game and really shouldn't be missed. This is a must-have game for PS2 owners, and if you don't own a PS2, it's worth buying it for.
