Shadow of colossus is a fantastic game one which every one should play it is the prettiest and most satisfying of all.
Shadow of colossus is one of the best games ever to be released on the PS2 every second of the game is amazing and had me glued to the screen.
The aim of the game is to hunt down and kill gigantic beasts called colossus every one of these monsters were different and unique, some of them were gentle some were just from the start out to kill you.
The graphics in this game are the best on the PS2 very similar to the graphics of MGS2, every bit of scenery is fantastically designed and looks almost real the colossus are also fantastically designed and look amazing.
The aim of the game is to kill the colossus in order to bring back a young girl maybe the hero’s wife or lover, so you start in a temple and are told where to go in order to find each colossus it is then up to you to travel to this place and to work out a way to kill the monster. Each colossus is a puzzle you have to work out how to kill it where its weak point is and how to get up there as most of the colossi are absolutely massive.
When travelling to each point in the game you use your horse to get there faster this horse is like a main character as you need him constantly through out the game, the horse looks and reacts like a proper horse would.
The story through out the game is puzzling and has you wondering what will happen next. You’ll find that you will become very addicted to the game and very involved.
The ending to this game is also superb and not what you would expect at all.
So overall you have to get this game as it is one of the best experiences on the PS2.
It will be a lot better if you have surround sound as the sound is amazing.
