Shadows Dark strange debut

Shadow has been a very interesting hedgehog from when he was introduced, He was seen as the better or darker half of sonic. With sonic grabbing most of the potential titles, SEGA gave shadow a shot at his own game. Firstly the game introduces shadow and it starts off with chaos, killing, Total destruction something fairly new to the sonic universe. The gameplay starts straight away as you soar into the first level but a notably new thing in shadow the hedgehog is the abillity to weid guns. Now to me a hedgehog roaming around carrying a gun would seem opposite of what sonics usual persona is, and immediately initiates people to question what shadow is really about.
Gameplay of the game is not very exciting, One minute you could be skating around loops then next thing you see is shadow losing his rings from some person you didnt catch onto fast enough. Instead it is more of a shoot'em up where you just walk around killing whoever you want and what you want. Storyline is a upward where as you can decide whether you want to kill the good guys, the bad guys, or just shoot anything for your own pleasure. By this it gives players a different kind of control over what they want to see shadow become at the end of the story. Graphics of the game is very 3d graphical and very colourful, It can be confusing seeing where you are heading when big blasts and bright bombs are exploding around you.

To say: Shadow can be a great game or a total letdown for whoever plays it, In the end it is how the player reacts that justifys this game.
