You were awesome in SA2, but are you still awesome now?
Shadow the Hedgehog. Man, you're my fifth favourite Sonic character. You were awesome in SA2, but are you still awesome now? On my opinion… YES! Now for the, Shadow the Hedgehog review!
STORY
Shadow the Hedgehog has lost his memory of the past, but keeps seeing pictures of Maria. You know, from SA2. Never mind. He sees that the clouds have gone red and Westopolis is being destroyed. Shadow walks away, but then a voice calls his name. Its name is Black Doom and it wants Shadow to collect all the seven Chaos Emeralds, then in return, he'll give Shadow the answers to his past.
GAMEPLAY
This is where people say this game sucks. It's not that broken. But anyway, you can jump and while in mid-jump, you can do a homing attack. For a pointless reason, Shadow can punch the crap out of stuff, but it hardly does any damage, so it's a bit unnecessary on my opinion. Now, you have to stay still to do a spin dash, because if you don't you'll end up doing the slide attack. But the newest features in Shadow the Hedgehog are the… Vehicles and guns! Why does Shadow need vehicles? He's just lazy. The guns… Yeah! Shoot the crap out of stuff, yeah! In one-player mode, you can get another person to help you. The second player can play as, Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Rouge, Amy, Espio, Vector and Charmy. There is a 2-player mode, where you have to fight to see who the Ultimate Life Form is. It's quite fun.
GRAPHICS
Well, it depends. Does your TV allow 50Hz or 60Hz? My one supports 60Hz and graphics are really good for a PS2 game. You should see the CGI cutscenes like the opening in 60Hz, it's so cool!
OVERALL
Overall, I think Shadow the Hedgehog is one of the decent Sonic games. I do wish they make Shadow the Hedgehog 2. So I give Shadow the Hedgehog for the Playstation 2 a…
