Shadow is bad in agood way!
After Sonic Heroes everybody moaned about not having control over Sonic on his own. Shadow is obviously Sonic Teams answer to these criticisms.
The game plays well, the gun mechanics are ok. the guns hit what you shoot at 90% of the time and there is plenty of ammo for the gun nuts.
The platforming is a lot more solid than Sonic Heroes' with fewer glitches in the solidarity of the gaming environments and an improved camera.
The vehicles are rarely use in the main game, but they handle well enough and give a good sensation of speed when in use.
The hero, normal and dark missions can be a bit daunting at first, but they grow on you after a few hours playing through the expertly designed levels.
Its better than poor platformers such as ratchet and clank, jak and daxter and the other nameless dross out there.
