A piece of crap with no support

Even though I purchased this game from a bargain bin, I still feel cheated. I installed it on one computer but it refused to run indicating that multiple DDER errors were occurring (it has something to do with the graphics) even though it was a fairly high end computer and a high end graphics card.
I contacted their "support team" (obviously a simian with an attitude and a complete inability to spell any word of more than 3 letters). They apparently only show up from 2 - 2:15 on weekday afternoons, so the back and forth went on for quite awhile. They offered two solutions - both of which started with "once the game is running". It took some effort to get them to understand that the game wouldn't run, making any solution that started with "once the game is running" totally useless. Once I impressed this upon them, the communications ceased. I waited 3 days and sent another query asking if they had given up. The response? "Well, you can hardly expect us to troubleshoot a game that we no longer produce." That response made me apoplectic. It's been apparent, to me at least, that Strategy First is becoming less and less concerned about quality and customer service (assuming that they even know what that concept means).
I finally managed to install it on a second computer and it took me less than 30 minutes to wish that I hadn't.
The graphics are clunky and outdated. The soundtrack is non-existent. English is a 2nd or 3rd language for the developers because not a single paragraph of the verbiage that pops up on the screen makes any kind of sense. Try this: "Having beached the compound, the Alliance saw that the ars must going back." And that's a GOOD example.
The manual must have taken all of 5 minutes to put together and doesn't really explain much of anything. I only got to the 4th mission before unexplained crashes and freezes made me snatch at my hair and finally uninstall the game (yet another exercise in insanity - not a single element of this game reflects any degree of competency). Near the end of the 3rd one, my "scout" acquired the "artillery" function. It was a situation saver. I kept losing the scenario since there was no explanation anywhere of how to use the function. The one reference in the "manual" said to see another topic in the manual. That topic, of course, was nowhere to be found.
I reached a point in the 4th mission where either the computer would freeze or it would kick back to the desktop via an unexplained crash. Nothing I tried (and, believe me, I tried everything) allowed to get past this point.
They should rename this one "Cheap Trick". It's a complete waste of time, effort and money. Over and above that, it's riddled with problems - problems that their technical staff are incapable of solving and couldn't care less that they can't.
If you find this in the $ 1 bin, you're still being overcharged.
