Firearms and Magic! What more could you ask for?

User Rating: 8.8 | Shadowrun SNES
Ahhhh.. The memories of Shadowrun. Having played the table top RPG, Shadowrun looked like it could have been a complete failure, but I was pleasantly surprised. The game is set in 2060, where corporations control just about everything. They use shadowrunners to do thier "dirty" work. Sabotage, computer hacking, murder, extortion, theft, you name it.
The game starts in a morgue. (What other game can you think of that STARTS in a morgue?) You take control of a shadow runner named Jake Armitage. The game progresses with Jake trying to find out why he was the victim of an attempted murder and why hit men are still trying to kill him. They story is indepth and neat.

I would have given it a 10 but there are several things that are annoying. Aiming while fighting is really annoying, but workable. Casting magic has the same mechanics as fighting, so that lowers it a little as well.
Graphics: 7
I judged the graphics on the date of SNES not on today values. The graphics were lacking. But to me, as long as the game has an enjoyable story, graphic aren't too important.
Sound: The music was repetitive, but what games music isn't. The music is actually pretty decent.
Value: 10
I loved this game. I still play it now. Replay is still fun.

I highly recommend this game.
