Now I am a 16 year old and I have been playing games since 2005. I've played some great games, some average games and even game I disliked. In 2013, I watched a livestream by Proton Jon of him playing a game called Shaq-Fu for the SNES. Me, being the curious one, decides to go and check this game out. I found out that the game was on SNES, Game Boy and Genesis, and I had a SNES emulator on the Samsung Galaxy Tab so I go and checked this game out. I have to say... This by far is the WORST GODDAMN EXCUSE FOR A FIGHTER GAME I'VE EVER PLAYED!!!! I mean, what the hell were the makers of this game smoking when they created this sh*t??!! They were under some HEAVY marijuana when they made this train wreck of a fighter game. They tried to mimic the Street Fighter series in their gameplay, but they just fail in every aspect of the game. Here are the many problems of this game...
The controls
The controls of the game may have wanted to be Street Fighter, but they were just far too floaty, unresponsive and above all, crappy to be even near to that of Street Fighter. The developers OBVIOUSLY did not take the time or effort to make sure that the controls were good enough, otherwise they wouldn't look like that!!!!
The story-line
The story mode doesn't even make sense either. Even though you are heading to a charity game, why the hell are you side-tracking yourself with some stupid shop??!! I'm sure the REAL Shaquille O'Neal wouldn't do that, so why is he going there?? And what's this about Shaq being "the chosen one"?? Hmm??!! The chosen WHAT??!!! HE'S A FRICKIN BASKETBALL PLAYER!!!!! NOT A FIGHTER!!!!
The gameplay
How can you say that a simple punch or kick attack can knock down most or even one-hit KO you??!! What kind of bullcrap is that??!! The only time THAT should happen is if the person used a Super Move or a Final Smash!!!! Or even the Home-Run Bat from the Smash Bros game!!! NOT A BASIC PUNCH MOVE!!!!! SERIOUSLY??!! ARE YOU F**KING KIDDING ME???!!!! The gameplay sucks SUPER SAIYAN ASS in this game!!
The music
Whether the game is great, mediocre or really bad, the game should have some enjoyable music... Except if it's SHAQ-FU!!!!! The music is repetitive and annoying!!!! I'd rather listen to Miley Cyrus' Wrecking Ball for 10 hours than this horse crap they called music.
Overall, I thin to myself, "Why am I playing this??!!" and I just think if only the game was programmed better, but even then, the game would still not top Street Fighter or even any fighting series!!! This game is a wannabe Street Fighte, but fails on all counts!! This game SUCKS!!!!! AVOID IT AT ALL COSTS!!!! If you want to play a better wannabe Street Fighter game, play something else like Clay Fighter, not this sh*t!!!
