The opening sequence starts off a wonderful story. Too bad the game play just doesn't back it up enough.

If you;ve read the review by Gamespot, then you have a pretty goo understanding of how the game plays. For me, they were right on in all their points about what was good and what needed to improve.

I personally enjoyed Dai Senryaku 7's game play a little more then Shattered Unions becuase it just felt better rounded to me.

But, its the story that Shattered Union sets up that is the impressive part and it follows the story line to the end. Giving you some updates inbetween turns of what is happening and keeping your interest in progressing.

The graphics are nicely done and the sound too is pretty solid with the usual noises you would expect from military machinery.

In the end though, I enjoyed the game for its story and easy to understand game play.
