The first of its kind on a console this story driven RPG is one of the first of its kind and one of the best games ever.

Sega's Shenmue is the first of its kind on a console and it certainly gained a lot of fans and support, and with good reason. Those who enjoy a good revenge story, RPG's, investigating, and real world elements will enjoy this game even in this current-gen era there is something to be said about the Shenmue series.

Playing the role of Ryo Hazuki who looks to get revenge on Lan Di, the man who killed his father. From the simple buying a toy from a soda machine, or the complicated finding out what to do next this game delivers, but it isn't without its flaws. If you are not a very patient man this game may seem a bit boring and for those who are not a fan of QTE style there is quite a bit of that (although done very well).

This is a time consuming title but it is absolutely worth it. The game is ambitious and innovative. If you are a fan of a good RPG story telling title and you have yet to play then Shenmue series I highly recommend it.
