Audio:
I was a bit disappointed with the re-casting of the actor who played Holmes but the new actor grew on me and I ended up really enjoying him. The rest of the cast was solid too as well as the sound track.
Visuals:
You can easily notice some inconsistency in the visual aspect of the game as well as a few minor bugs. Does it ruin the game? No but these are issues that should have been fixed and I'm a bit disappointed that they haven't yet.
Game Play:
Similar to the first game Crime and Punishment. A bit more mini games this time around though. Investigating is still very fun though.
Other:
The plot's for each case were interesting and original. The overall sub plot involving your neighbor Alice was predictable from start to finish (I knew her motives but the end of the first/mid second case). Visual issues bring the game down a bit. Too many annoying mini games and quite a few of them are totally needless. The game is incredibly short, doesn't have much for content and has absolutely no replay value. The cases start off fairly long but the fourth and fifth cases are incredibly short and are over before you know it.
Overall: 6/10
The visual issues and lack of content deliver heavy blows to the game's overall score. There just isn't enough content or depth of it to justify charging a full $60 to anyone. And the issues with inconsistent looking graphics put a damper on things as well. At the most, This should have been a $30-40 game. I picked it up on sale for $20 and I recommend you doing the same. I still enjoyed playing the game as much as I did the first one but there's a bit too many issues.
