Very cool game, a lot like Nocturne, but still stays unique

I usually don't write many reviews but this is one of my few. I'm writing this because there are people, like my friends, whenever I recommend them playing this game they are like Shin Megami whatee. They don't believe me that it's a good game so I want to share my opinion with everyone on it. First of all if you'e played Nocturne you will find this game to be quite enjoyable. The basics are the same. The fusion chamber has the same functions like register demons for later us, fuse, etc. The menu screen looks almost identical. This game is nothing like Digital Devil Saga which IMO is for the best because I thought those were a disgrace to the Shin Megami name. The level up is the same as Nocturne too. You get to add one attriubute to the main character and for the demons it is chosen randomly. The really big difference is the battling. It isn't turn based. Don't let this get you down though it is very cool. You walk into random encounters and then a battle screen comes up where it's a complete free for all. If you've played any of the tales of eternia, phantasia games you'll know what im talking about. You start off in a training building where you pick your name and go throuh all the tutorials. This was one of the bright spots of this game. I thought it did a really nice job training you before actually fighting. You can master this challenging game pretty quickly. Your characters weapons are a katanta and a gun. Then you're off to protect the world in which the game takes place during this you recruit demons, which by the way is a lot cooler than Nocturne did it. In Nocturne you had to persuade the demons to join this one you just have to find their weakness (ex. ice is fire's) then they freeze up and you run up to them and start smashing the circle button until you catch them. Then you can fuse them in a chamber which also acts like a store where you can buy items and ammo for your gun. You can also go to this chapel thing where you can go into the netherworld of each city and find new itmes and demons there. This game has endless possibilities, a lot like Nocturne. I recommend to anyone who reads this review to buy it because it will quickly become hard to find much like Nocturne did.
