Devil Survivor brought some changes to the traditional SMT formula in its journey to the DS.All of your actions, whether they be to swith out demons in your party or heal to attacking enemy demons are ordered on grid based map.if you don't think out your moves and attacks, you're going to have a hard time trying to defeat the numerous demons that have flooded into Tokyo.Demon collecting and raising are just as engaging.By bidding on demons in the auction you can collect them to raise and use in battle, or use them in pairs to create different demons, known as fusing. Fusing demons creates a huge number of team possibilities. its fun just seeing the different demons that can be made with fusion. this element of the game is done very well.the best part of the game is the character The conversations you have the people you meet all around Tokyo make you realize what the best part of the game is; the characters. You meet so many different kinds of people ranging in social class,interests, appearances, and personalities. And the best part is, all of these characters are done very well.in the end the battles can be a little infuriating, and the game can be a intimidating at first, but with five different plot routes with different endings, endless team customization options, and some of the best characters that you must play if you are an strategy RPG Gamer
