Those looking for a fun trip down memory lane might want to avoid 'Shinobi', since this game has not aged well at all.
Not that I was expecting much for my $5, but I certainly didn't get much. As with all of the games in Sega's 'Vintage Collection', the developers did nothing to enhance the game in any way. Unless you count the ability to save anywhere, which is a nice function due to the cheap one-hit kills and overall frustrating gameplay.
Shinobi is a game that is best left in the past where people might remember it as a fun & challenging combat-platformer. Unless you are a huge fan of this game already, there is no reason to download this. Even if you were just curious about the game again, like I was, don't bother and save your 400 pts. to spend on something more worthy. Like Sonic 3, for instance.
