The very best!

User Rating: 10 | Shinobi III: Return of the Ninja Master GEN
Regardless how old this game is now, I can still play it over and over again. Shinobi III is everything it should of been from start to finish. The game is full of lush graphics, excellent sound, terrific gameplay, and superb graphics for a Sega Genesis title. Some, people will easily over look this game because of its easy difficulty compared to Shinobi II.

There are over 10 levels in this game including a few bonus ones you automatically go to such as the horse riding stage, and surf stage.

The game sort of lost its edge when you reach the final stage. It doesn't make any sense. Your fighting on some massive airship which reminds me of the airship on Ninja Gaiden for the XBOX.

Boss battles are decent and fairly challenging even on Expert. This isn't bad at all, because the game can be played by both NOVICE and ADVANCED PLAYERS. Which made it a successful title.

My issue with the game was when you strike an enemy once with a shuriken they die. I'd prefer to hit them at least twice or three times before they die. Most enemies require a few more hits before they explode to dust,

Shinobi III will make you feel like an American Ninja with a Japanese name running around striking down evil. The intro is even impressive which will most likely remind you of the 1980 series "American Ninja".
