Do I like Shinobi? Yes. I do. I think the series are very awesome. Do I like other Shinobi stuff? Well, I think Shinobis rock. They kunai knifes, shuriken, weapons, and ninjustu. Do I like Ninja/Shinobi games? Yes. I do. Naruto... I don't like Naruto. I think Shadow Dancer was fun...but I didn't like getting killed in one hit, but it still was pretty fun. Shinobi 3 is the best Shinobi game. Storyline: Joe Musashi, the ninja master, returns to stop Neo Zeed from finding the Shadow Dancer. Joe Musahi, who is also the last keeper of the Oboro Ninjutsu techniques must defeat the Evil Neo Zeed. Well. The storyline sounds good to me. Pros: Fast paced, action-packed, very great music. Shinobi attacks are cool and detailed, great reply value. Cons: The cool dog, Yamoto, isn't here. Graphics- Perfect for the Sega Genesis. It's really high quality. Very nice graphics. Classically perfect. The blood also looks good. Gameplay- Addicting. Fast paced. The controls are simple once you get used to them. The attacks are also somewhat sweeeeet. The action controls are this (I only played this game on Sega Genesis Collection. SO these are not Sega Genesis controls): Square makes you throw shuriken and kunai knives. If you press square up colse to a enemy you will use your sword. Jumping is X, and you can also throw a lot of shuriken in the air too. The triangle button is for your ninjutsu abilities. It's just a simple ability when lightning goes into your sword. It is your sheild and it can take a few attacks. The high level of difficulty is really great. Making this a awesome challenge to try, play, continue, and beat. The boss fights are hard and challenging... SHINOBI STYLE! I miss the dog Yamoto though. The opening level is very nice for a Shinobi game. It's really awesome for Shinobi in a forest. There is a horse boss fight which is... pretty great! Extremely muthaf*cking brilliant!!!!!!!!!! God-damn near perfect. Sound- The sound is awesome. The music is great for a Shinobi's adventure. The boss fight music are the most Shinobi-like to me. Very nice sound. VERY nice.
OVERALL- If you like Shinobi or a action-packed platformer, action and adventure... I suggest you go out and get this. I will carry this game for a long time. A long time and you should too. Near perfect. Not my favorite game but this is really awesome. This is a must-buy.
