Shinobi III may be less difficult than the other games, but it still is the best game in the series.
The bad: Some hard core Shinobi fans won't appreciate the much less punishing difficulty.

In Shinobi III, Neo Zeed is back and stronger than ever, and it's up to everyone's favorite Shinobi, Joe, to stop the Shadow Master. The game was supposed to be released in 1992, but Sega did not like the final results. They started heavy development on the new version and released it in 1993, to critical acclaim. In fact, Shinobi III is the best Shinobi game out there by far.
Instead of focusing on difficulty, a shame for die hard fans, Shinobi III focuses on speed, sweet ninja moves, and, well, that's basically it. You can be invincible for a short time, fly kick enemies, use those blades, sword action, you can even use your horse to headbutt. All these moves really add up the the games classic style, and this game will probably never get old.
As well as these moves, Joe can also jump-scale walls, and a running slash making him invincible. Joe also has four sweet ninjitsu moves; lightning as a shield, calling dragons, higher jumps, and sacrificing himself to beat a boss. How cool would that be (unless you had one life). Joe also has a lot of health, and there are plenty of boxes for you to find to heal your stats. Sure there's lots of enemies, but how casn any of them stand in Joe's way?
Shinobi III may be less difficult than the other games, but it still is the best game in the series. A classic and by no means flawed, Shinobi III will appeal to anyone who just wants to kick ass.
