This is a game that created the Total War series. It takes place in Medieval Japan, which at the time is at a destructive civil war. The player must choose a Faction between seven choices and lead his family to the complete conquest of Japan. The game consists of two mainly parts. The campaign map and the battle map. The first is turn based and involves around the business of the state the economy of the castles and the territories, the morale of the peasants and so on. The battle map is RTS oriented and involves mass battles between Samurai armies.
Graphics : Everything in the battle area is 3d, but outdated considering today's standards.
Sound : Beautiful Japanese music that is very pleasant to the ear, and truly fitted for the campaign setting.
Game Play : Once you get used to it, you will value the one more turn feeling that the game provides.
Difficulty : Just right. It is not the easiest game out there, but it won't destroy your nerves either.
