The summer movie of 2004, Shrek 2 has been made into a game and the GBA version is an easy team orientated game that is quite fun. On Shrek 2 you are able to play as Shrek, Donkey, Puss in boots and Gingerbread man. All these characters have their own special abilities. Shrek can jump very high but he is the most powerful, Donkey can jump higher than Shrek, Puss in boots can cling onto walls with his claws and gingerbread man can jump the highest. In some levels it will just be one character to control but later on you will be controling 2 characters then 3 and even all 4. You will have to use all your characters moves to be able to work out the team orientated puzzles. In the levels you will find a little leprachaun. He will give you a mini game to play. Each character has their own mini game. If you complete the game 100% you will get a suprise. I wont tell you what it is but its abit of a disapointment. The graphics on Shrek 2 are fine. The colours are bright. The backgrounds add alot of colour. Greens of the swamp and dark blues of the night. Each character says a funny comment when the level starts. Shrek will say 'OK', Donkey will say his name ect. The music is quite catchy aswell. You will be humming some of the tunes on the game. This game is quite easy and wont take you long to complete. If you finish the game 100% you will get an extra. This extra is a disapointment though so don't get too excited about it if you are trying to do 100%. This game is easy because its based for kids but even if your not 12 or under its still a fun game which is entertaining for a while. I'm glad I spent £30 on this. Its not the best game out there but its good for what it is.
