Shrek 2 on GameCube is actually a surprisingly good adaption of the hit animated movie.
Fiona invites Shrek, Donkey and Gingerbread Man to see her father at a place called Far, Far Away. While it starts off well something evil happens upon Fiona's family especially Fiona's dad that's secretly involved with the evil and commanding Fairy Godmother. So it's up to Shrek and his friends to stop this madness.
Game play:
Easy for the most part, but a little difficult at times. The Levels are fun to explore and it's nice to collect photos for souvenirs after your done with the objectives. The enemies and bosses are challenging to fight and sometimes there's strategy during the game.
Graphics:
Brilliant Game-Cube graphics. The characters look just like they're supposed to be along with nice and smooth visuals. The level design looks brilliant and well-built.
Music and Sound:
Nice soundtrack from the game. Sound effects are great as well.
Controls:
Joystick for moving. A for jumping and B for hitting.
Lasting Appeal: The game is a surprisingly good adaption of the hit animated film. 8 out of 10.
