This game is the perfect TBS game. There are many different game modes, especially with the expansions. You can Play Now, Play A Scenario, or create your own Custom Game in which you control all aspects of how the game will play by choosing the world's geography, the number of the people (or AI) you will play against, who they will be, the game rules, the era in which the game starts, and also what is needed to achieve victory. You will play this game for hours at a time, once you start you won't be able to stop. (too addicting) Just the original game can play on almost any system, I have the expansion Beyond The Sword but cannot run it until I get a graphics card. There are also many different difficulty settings so you can always be challenged and it also makes the perfect difficulty level for each player. So whether you want to create the most cultured civilization in history, the richest civilization, or just want to crush your enemies with a massive army, this game is for you
