Less than I expected.

Far more has been taken away from the game than has been introduced, the interface that they claim is streamlined is another way of saying generic, it's probably the same used for their facebook version of Civ.
The Tech tree makes no sense what so ever, the Diplomacy is empty, the leaders have no personality what so ever and chant the same line over and over no mater what they are offering.
Apparantly 2K layed off about 20 of the staff a month or so before the game was released, the result is yet another PC game that is being sold unfinished, and customers awaiting patches.
The 2K forums are full of disgruntled customers and the usual rabid fanboys, I would recommend going to Civfanatics to get an acurrate picture of this game or download the demo and see for yourself.
For me, after a long line of Civ games 1 through 4 this is the biggest dissappointment, I bought the game with little research as Sid has always produced the goods, not this time however.
