Crashes, glitches, steam, and numerous other things make me say this game is unpolished.

User Rating: 7.5 | Sid Meier's Civilization V PC
If you ignore the fact that you have to install steam and use steam to install the game ( a total of 4 - 8 hrs install time ), the fact that you can't skip the intro movie ( a total of 2 - 4 mins ), the fact that the game crashes about every 30 minutes ( and yes, my system is up-to-date and my graphics settings are on low or minimum ), the fact that on the earth map civilizations do not start out where they are supposed to, the fact that the AI is extremely overly aggressive as always, the fact that there is a minefield of glitches spread throughout the game, and that there still has not been a patch to fix any of these problems after several months, you may find this game fun. The new features, if you can access them for more than 30 mins at a time, are innovative and fun to experiment with. The game improves everything that was bad in the former additions to the franchise and messes up everything else. I do not think this game deserves a 9.0 as the makers overlooked or ignored numerous mistakes. The game is fun when you are not frustrated with the crashes and glitches.
