SID MEIER IS A DAM GENIUS
The reason i found the fighting dissapointing is that theres only 3 moves you can do, and after a while this gets a little boring, but remains doable. the boat gights are easily the best thing about the game, either shooting at them with your ship (which can be earned by defeating other ships, i got mine off the no1 most wanted pirate, its awesome and has never been defeated). If you do defeat the enemy you have the choice of keeping the ship or sinking it, before you sin it if you choose to do so, you can get extra crew members and take stock off the ship.
The dancing is good for a while but quickly becomes tedious. hpw ever, it must be done to earn special gifts, i got a pistol, but to be honest, i dont see the point of having it because you cant use it (if anybody knows how to use it please PM me).
the ability to make a fleet then invade a city and take it is also great fun, it earns you alot of gold and you can give the cuty to ally countries. I havnt actually yet started to do quests, all im doing is roaming around the oceans destroying enemy vessels and gettuing promoted, im now a court in england (not that im bragging but that is a very high rank :D)
