I was very disappointed with this game. It is severally lacking in a lot of things. I thought that since this was Sid’s game that it would be great, much like Civ4 was great. Unfortunately the game turned out to be the worst of all the railroad tycoon games I have played.

This game does not live up because it is very flawed. The double tracking system is horrible. I find that by the end of the game every inch of the map it seems is filled with track in some combination.

There is also none of the advance feature found in the railroad tycoon games. No station upgrades (hotels etc), no selling of bonds, etc.

Overall this game does not live up to the expectations I expect from a Sid Meier game.
