I really think Silent Hill 2 is just like Silent Hill but it's different. For example
Silent Hill has monsters, but there is more then the classic on. It's not just a horror video-game, but with sad experiance about a man who hates his wife or betray her and killes her. The ending, is were James felt sad of his sins and thinks that his wife Mary died 3 years. That is very sad in a horror video-game mixed with romance, for crise sake.

P.S. I thought we kill monsters, not humans. I don't like to kill Eddie if I piss him off and attacks with his gun.
