Smart, interesting, and has plenty of depth which allows you to use your mind. Not many games nowadays make you do that.

Silent Hill 2 is a game many people will find scary. I think that's mainly because of the atmosphere this game creates by using unpleasant sounds and music that would probably not make you feel good if you heard it without the game. The gameplay is not ass fun as you'd want it to be because there isn't much variety to the action. But what the hell, this is a puzzle/action game so it's all good. Gameplay: +shootin' **** up and kicking it is always good +VERY nice plot +puzzles make you think (On hard mode at least) -a tad slow -short! -very small variety of enemies Graphics: +once you take the noise off, the game looks awesome /- but you gotta beat the game to do that +smooth framerate -too much fog (couldn't stick with the snow Konami could you!?) Sound: +decent voice acting +dark and creepy sound effects and music +great soundtrack (intro theme, the ending themes) +unpleasant (in a good way) Value: -short +but has a ton of replay value If you want a dark, creepy game that has amazing depth to it's plot then get SH2. Also check out; SH, SH3, SH4, and Fatal Frame.
