At first I felt really bored the first two or three scenes ar e not delivering anything interesting. Boring running trough the sewers and the subway that I hated like hell. Nothing there that would have interested me. But to my surprise everything changed when Heather arrived at her apartment. Somehow the old Silent Hill arrived. A great story kicks in for good measure. The game also gives some genuinely great horror moments. I had never expected after the first third that the game could pull it of, but I was scared and amazed. Most of all I am amazed about the graphics. This really lets me dream about PS3 and xbox 360 character models. The sound is definitly great too. Some really good music pieces and sound effects. Of course the dialogues are of the slow and boring "silent hill" kind, but that's is ok.
There are also a lot of Bonuses to get, which will definitely make you play through again. The puzzles are really hard(i only figured out a fraction...)but you can as usual choose in the beginning whether you like it easy, normal or hard.
This game is seriously essential to every good horror collection. You only have to survive to first boring 2 hours to enjoy the remaining three(right it is short).
