Very facinating story line, and perfect gameplay.
The gameplay might be bothersome on certain levels of the game. For instance playing the game on hard mode 4 will cause heather to run right into walls or even slip and fall to the ground. It becomes anoyying after awhile but can be avoided depending on how you play the game.
Silent Hill 3 kicks off fresh with a new story line, new characters, new monsters, new places to visit, and etc. The main character isn't anoyying even when she yells, most female characters are horrible (thank God I don't play RPG games or watch Japanese anime cartoons) . The game is brilliant, somewhat scary but not as scary as Silent Hill 2 was when I first bought it. What Silent Hill 3 does for you is bring back some of the original elements. There are puzzles involved but they are simple to solve, you can also unlock several T-shirts and for you challenging type of gamers you can unlock extra difficulty levels. So far I've played 3 different difficulty modes and died a few times except in Silent Hill 3 Im patient with the game I can die allot and still enjoy the story along the way. In games like Ninja Gaiden if I die I feel like beating the hell out of someone maybe someone from gamespot.com heh that would be great.
So if you don't have Silent Hill 3 I suggest you buy it before it becomes rare someday. You wont be dissappointed, if you played the first one I reccommend you getting this one as well since the story line goes along with the first one and Harry is Heather's father.
