Silent Hill 3

Of all the Silent Hill games I have played, this one is the greatest.

Silent Hill is for some reason, aside from Resident Evil 4, the only survival horror series/games I can play. I'm a coward at heart yet Silent Hill is a great experience.

Silent Hill 3 in my opinion is the best so far. The animation is smooth, the graphics are crisp, and the lighting is some of the best even today. The story is deep, and keeps the SH idea alive by referencing things from the first two titles. The music and sound effects help greatly to create the disturbing and creepy atmosphere of the Silent Hill experience. The game-play could have been improved for keyboard users, (I use a PS2 controller to play it, so it's responsive and works well for me) but those with a good game pad should be fine. Overall this game is a thrill to play.
