Silent Hill 4 changes the formula from the previous Silent Hill games which is a good thing for anone who suffered through the muddled and annoyingly confusing third installment in the series. The room as a hub is a welcome change and it really adds to the game. The game manages to have a story that links to the first game and makes sense. Actually, no it makes no sense but you at least can understand it. The game is very disturbing and quite scary which is rare in videogames now. Puzzles are still classic Silent Hill though meaning you will pull your hair out dealing with puzzles that are unintuitive and illogical. Still if you've playd previous games in the series you'll be better prepared for it. The levels sometimes are awful in design but the enemies as always are completely disturbing to the point where you'll be in awe of the things you are fighting against. If you liked the other games get this one. If you didnt then it probably isnt a great idea but still, give it a try.
