This game leaves my aching for more!

I have never played a Silent Hill game before, so thus i do not know the story line. What is great about this game, is it takes you to the very beggining, so although im playing a 2007 game, the next part of the storyline carries on to the original from 1999 :P. If you have not played Silent Hill before, then pick up this game, beat it, probably go a site to explain the symbolism in this game because it amazed me, and continue on through the rest of the series. Now on to the game:

I can understand why gamespot gave this game a lower score mainly because the gameplay does get a little boring and repetitive, but that is now what this game is about. This game may lack in gameplay, but its storyline excels, along with graphics and sound. It also is not too short either, because i so badly wanted to know how the game ended, it took me about 5 hours to finish after i was already about 75% done.

When it comes to the scare factor, there is not much in this game that is going to freak you out all of a sudden. However, the environment is so creepy and because you dont know what to expect, i found my heart racing through many parts of this game.

Overall, a solid and enertaining game that has left me addicted to the series, and now what i want for christmas is silent hill 1-4 so i can see where the storyline goes from here, because its incredible.
