I bought this game thinking it couldn't be too different from the other 4 that I happen to be a huge fan of. Wow was I wrong. They turned it into some sort of half baked RPG that takes place in first person. I hate this game, for stealing from me. The stupid DRM isn't an issue for me considering I highly doubt I will be playing this game much more but for those of you who plan to play it more than 2 or 3 times the DRM is a huge pain. It feels as if they were attempting to port this game to consoles because it is completely different from the other games in the series. Again, DO NOT MAKE THE MISTAKE I MADE!!!! DO NOT BUY THIS GAME!!! THIS GAME KILLED THE SILENT HUNTER FRANCHISE!!! Ubisoft has ensured that this series will never be what it once was. If you are new to this series and looking to actually enjoy the concept of a submarine simulator I would highly suggest buying either 4 or 3. Both are fun but 4 has better graphics and 3 has better game play.
R.I.P. Silent Hunter...you will be sorely missed.
