Nice addition to the franchise

I enjoyed being able to control the surrounding cities. It was fun being able to create a residential oasis that was connected to industrial/municipal “great for work but wouldn’t want to live there” city. I like the partially developed maps. I like the additional control and info giving for traffic control that’s really cool, great addition there. I like some of the scenarios. I like the day to night animations, its about time they added that, now if we could just get the seasons. I like the wild animal additions. The driving game is cute but a little more difficult to control than it should be. The building/living animations are getting better and better but are still not where I’d like them to be. Basically, I’m still looking for that sim town experience, that “perfect” cross between the sims and simcity and just haven’t gotten it yet. I was very disappointed when they cancelled that project but oh well. I could not go better than good because I don’t like the lack of precise control in the terrain modification mode. It’s good it’s just that I thought the one in 3000 unlimited was more precise. I was also disappointed with the lack of variety of buildings especially futuristic buildings. I really got a kick out of simcity 2000’s futuristic building set. It’s still very difficult to create a truly viable farming community. I still want the hydropower plants brought back. To me hydropower is more realistic than wind generators but whatever. The highway function has been made much more difficult and expensive than it should be. Overall another solid addition to a solid franchise.
