Sins of a solar empire is a great RTS game that is alot of fun but is not quite for everyone. Although it is a RTS it holds alot of civilization style of play and takes much more time to play than a regular RTS. Last night i played an IP battle with my friend, the game started at 10pm and went until 1am. It is alot of fun and developing your capital ship is addicting and creating fleets of cruisers and frigates is just as fun. The game has a variety of maps to play on that are scaled from small to large. You can also design your own map to play on. Although the game has multiplayer, it should be kept in mind that even a small map provides plenty of battle space ( especially a random small map ) and so if you plan on playing large multiplayer battles, keep a few hours reserved to finish the game, otherwise you might as well be playing computers that you can resume the fight with in the morning.
