The Siren returns with increased mouthwatering visuals and enhanced graphics, can you resist the call???

This review is based on the Asian version for the PlayStation 3 called Siren New Translation which can be played on American consoles because they are region free. This version includes English voice acting, as well as English subtitles and menus. It is also the uncensored version and it is sold as a PlayStation 3 Blue Ray game disk import rather then Siren Blood Curse which is down loadable. For anyone that loved the original Siren on the PlayStation 2 console, you will love this game if not even more. It is much more straightforward and simplified compared to its predecessor and is more of a remake/re imagining of the first Siren, so some story elements, environments and characters will be similar or the same which is a good thing for anyone familiar to the original. Instead of 10 characters players now control only 7 through the course of the game. They will need to use the ability sight jack once again which allows playable characters to see through the eyes of allies or enemies to help get through each stage. Siren New Translation is a lot shorter then the original because of making it simplified but it is just as rewarding if not more then Siren. Again players will be immersed in Japanese horror rich with beautifully creepy music and setting. I highly recommend this to fans of the series and even to those unfamiliar to the Siren world.
